- To leverage resources and finance for development and promotion of the Community Led Housing Agenda and local projects; both statutory and charitable.
- To be an active member of the wider national knowledge hub.
- To offer a political engagement strategy linking to regional/ national networks building the profile of CLH in the Tees Valley.
- To Champion the creation of a sustainable ecosystem where opportunities for CLH with Local Authorities and Housing Associations can thrive.
- To regularly provide and promote CLH positive information and training for high level supporters and stakeholders.
- To actively promote and facilitate the adoption of ‘CLH Champions’ in each of our Local Authorities areas and within the Tees Valley Combined Authority.
- To support Local Authorities in the delivery of self-build/community led development registers.
- To create opportunities for partnership working with both land owners and house builders by adopting a ‘Development’ role.
- To create the environment for the CLH sector to thrive within the Tees Valley Area; through the marketing and delivery of affordable homes provided by community led groups.
